The PCA team brought home ‘People’s Choice’ in this year’s Puppy Love Design Challenge. Drawing upon the recognizable form and playful spirit of Finnish designer Eero Aarnio’s Magis Me Too Puppy, the team transformed the puppy to evoke the spirt of childhood.

Using a Magis Puppy supplied by Creative Material Corporation & Herman Miller, the PCA team applied paint, and an innovative use of a slinky to recreate Slink, the lovable character from the Toy Story series. The classic character holds nostalgia for toys of the mid-century era, and the playtimes of yesteryear. Slink reminds us all that imagination goes hand in hand with design.
