This new Fantail Student Center and Café on the Mass Maritime Academy campus in Bourne MA, allows the state university to reach its targeted student population and activate the campus. Providing a place for students to gather socially and collaborate academically, the café and lounge spaces are a much needed daily eatery and social spot.
In addition, the Fantail Café creates refreshed student life spaces designed in contemporary stylings and with inclusivity in mind, including a designated cultural education space – The Captain Paul Cuffe Center for Inclusion, as the student population continues to become more diverse.
Connected outdoor space to Fantail, a patio decked out with a fire pit and modern Adirondack chairs, offers views to Butler Cove an inlet to the Atlantic Ocean.
